Jaipur !

Rajasthan was on the cards for quite a while now. The BhanGarh fiasco comes to my mind. There were slight feelers about Jaipur after Christmas, but then as usual, nothing was concrete. Come friday evening, around 2130, and I am back from watching Madgascar-2 (ok types movie) and Suneeth is back from the gym. We decide to head off to Jaipur.

The spontaneity of the decision and having no chalked out plans to do whatever gave us the initial adernaline rush. Tanked up Suneeth's Lancer. stored some essentials from an In and Out and we were zooming off on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway. The road to Jaipur is pretty good, except that there are too many trucks at the nighttime. Around 0000 hours and we hit the first toll booth.

Not much cash was the first of the issues, loads of fog the second. Hunger struck. We stopped at the first dhaba and the dal fry was delicious. Not many times have we paid 50 bucks for a dinner for two. :-) The elusive ATM was nowhere to be found on the entire highway..! We made it past the last toll booth with 0 cash left. Reached Jaipur at around 0330. ATM problem solved we drove off to the railway station. We rested in the lancer after steaming hot tea and sandwiches. It was soon daylight.

Looking for a place to freshen up and breakfast, Suneeth found Pinkz (Breakfast from hell).
The buffet breakfast there was horrible. If not for the interiors and the people this could actually have been a lowpoint in the trip.

This done, we were off to the walled city (which is actually pink) and houses the famous HawaMahal. This structure is beautiful. We met a tour guide here who offered to show us around the city for a meagre 50 bucks. We hired him.

So now that we had the tour guide with us. Heres some interesting trivia : This facade was built so that the Queens could see the parade passing on the road below and fitted with black curtains so that nobody could see the queens. I wonder why ? The queens were all supposed to be good looking, why then were they so averse to being looked at ! Anyways the next stop was Jhulelal Temple. Then Queen Gayatri Devi's handicraft factory and then the City Palace.

JhuleLal Temple

City Palace.
Having had enough of museums, it was time for some forts. However the guide suggested we go the Shashoidya Gardens first. We took his advice. The gardens were ok, but we gathered another fun fact here. Rani Shashodiya agreed to marry the Raja only if he built her this palace outside the city with exclusive gardens. That he did. And then she had a son named Madho singh. Madho Singh was 250 kgs, 7 feet 3 inches and had a chest expansion of 3.5 feet ! He also had nine wives and 101 dasis. Too bad he still never became a father. Anyways I did get a chance to do my famous handstand so was feeling pretty good about myself as we left the gardens for Tiger Fort(Nahargarh).

Rani Shashodiya's palace
Near perfect handstand.

Nahargarh was elusive. We lost our way once, corrected it but found another landmark enroute. The Jal Mahal. This was Raja's 'pleasure palace' for which he got a dam specially to create the lake and then this palace in the middle of water. Some antics these Rajas had !

Jal Mahal.
There were a lot of tourists here, mostly Indian. It was sad to see how everybody was littering the place so much. When will we start to care !

Anyways, off to the tigerfort. This one was Awesome.

Tiger fort

Inside the fort.

From top of the fort.

With this done, we quickly headed off to JaiGarh. This housed the famous Jaivaan which is the largest canon in the world. Had to walk around a km to reach this one, but then the superlative canon was enough to keep us motivated. ;-)

Jaivaan inside JaiGarh

Road to Amber fort(as seen from Jaigarh)

Next stop was Amber Palace. This one was the oldest and very beautiful. It also has an elephant ride but the jumbos were nowhere to be seen while we were there. This palace is also called the Mirror Palace for all the mirror work done inside.

Amber Palace

Tiny mirrors used in this artwork.

More art.
This was the last of our stops in Jaipur. We reached the parking and were about to take the car when we could actually smell heaven. The fragrance of food was actually so good that I had to enquire its origin. Turns out there is a small Paratha shop nearby. We helped ourselves to steaming hot and delicious Parathas. They were pretty awesome. :-)

Finally with this happy conclusion we bode farewell to Jaipur. Its a nice city and a quick weekend getaway from Delhi. Some spots were missed esp the Pandavpul village. Next time. :-)

We had a flat tire on the way to add to our experiences and were back in Delhi by around 0030 after having a near midnight dinner at a Dhaba enroute.

Awesome trip ! Cheers !

Ah my first movie review. Rab ne bana dee jodi. Superly sweet movie, set in Amritsar, and as I was recently in that city, this did strike a chord. The Golden Temple bit is mesmerizing. Also there were a bunch of kids sitting behind me and given that the movie didnt really need me to concentrate, I was kindof enjoying their chatter.

So, theres was a scene when SRK doing his 'simple guy ' bit is taking a bath sitting on a stool on his haunches under a high tap on the terrace, and the kid behind me goes, 'mere papa bhi bilkul aise hee nahate hain' if that wasn't enough for the spontaneus giggle it invoked, he actually stood up and asked his dad (who was sitting a little away), 'Papa, aap ekdum aise hee nahate ho na ?'. This sent all the people within earshot into peels of laughter.

Allright back to the movie, SRK did his employed with Punjab Power bit flawlessly and the office antics were also brought out well. Anushka looks great in the patiala suits she adorns in most of the movie. Also the songs are great, esp the one with Kajol, Bipasha, Rani and Zinta. The movie does get a little longish in the end, but given that it was a 10:30 PM show and I had gone all by myself, I won't comepletely blame the movie for the odd yawn.

So all in all, a decent outing and you come out of the hall with a smile on your face. :-)

Cheers,
Vikram

P.S : Why, whenever I go to see a movie alone, am I placed next to a canoodling couple is something I'll never comprehend !

The Argumentative Indian - first essay

I started with Amartya Sen’s The Argumentative Indian recently, have finished the first essay and this is a review of that. A general observation : his writing is like classical music, you have to pay a lot of attention and appreciate it as it flows down your senses and you fully grasp the author’s intent. A little different and very enjoyable. :-)

Ok about the first essay, the book derives its name from the first essay itself, it too is titled : The Argumentative Indian. In this essay Sen explores the deep routed tradition of discussion, arguments and basically loads of talking in the Indian ethos. He gives a lot of historical examples, right from the Mahabharatha and Ramayana to Akbar’s court of nine jewels. Historic traditions of debating and reasoning are also presented as one of the pillars of our tolerance of diversity and richness of culture. Sen also points out that argumentativeness cuts across gender and caste biases which were very much present in the historical Indian society. He gives examples from the Vedas, Upanishads and other ancient Indian texts. The example of Bhagwad Geeta which is a discussion between Arjun and Lord Krishna is also highlighted.

Our culture of reason, arguments and discussions is also thought to be the source of tolerance to heterodoxy and our significant advances in Mathematics and Sciences in the ancient India. Even the very existence of God is questioned in none less than The Rig Veda itself. To quote a line from the essay, (which quotes it from an english translation of The Rig Veda) :

Creation Hymn :

Who really knows? Who will here proclaim it? Whence was it produced? Whence is this creation? The gods came afterwards, with the creation of this universe. Who then knows whence it has arisen?

Whence this creation has arisen -perhaps it formed itself, or perhaps it didnot - the one who looks down on it, in the highest heaven, only he knows - or perhaps he doesn’t know

This is an example of questioning even the most basic of religious beliefs (that of the very existence of God) in a religious book of the stature of The Rig Veda.

The first essay is full of such examples and makes for very sound reading. Amartya Sen has done a pretty good job, at least in his opening essay of the book. Lets see whats in store ahead. I can’t wait to find out !

Cheers !

Book review : 3 mistakes of my life, Chetan Bhagat

Finished this one last night. The book starts off dramatically like the other two Chetan Bhagat books. The author presents a scenario to grip the reader and introduces what made him actually write this book. The story starts beautifully. Three friends, cricket fans, high on each others company, worrisome about the future. Then starts the entrepreneurial part. They actually start a profitable business and the protagnist shows astute business sense. They diversify, expand their core comptencies and are successful.

But like any other business, the story is not completely rosy. The infamous Bhuj earthquake of 2001 occurs and the boys lose all their money as a mall collapses in which they made a huge deposit to book a prime location shop. Following this loss, the protagnist falls ill and is dissappointed. However the friends, who were a little clumsy till now rise to the occassion and keep the shop running. Things even out finally and they get into whole sale business and make lots of profit.

Nice read. Uptil now. But catering to ‘formula best seller ‘ genre, the author digresses from this well crafted theme to actually throw in romance, guilt, a gifted underdog and the fight between friends over a family matter. The ending is horrible in which a actual screenplay of a movie is written (Our heroes defend the underdog from a mob during the Gujarat riots - one of them dies in the process). The last 60 pages of this 260~ page book are horrible.

Apart from the end part, it makes for some good light reading, if you are not doing much on a lazy sunday afternoon. :-)

Stay Hungry..

I bought this book by Rashmi Bansal a few days ago. Loved it. It has 25 chapters about 25 IIM A grads who are doing their own thing. Yes, thats the best way to describe it, doing their own thing. One of them is actually not an entreprenur per se , meaning he is an employee, with a nominal ownership stake like many of us, but he does his own thing.

In all 25 chapters their are remarkable similarities and yet stark differences. The advice to young entrepreneurs section after each chapter is quite enlightening. But again, contradictory points are made from one such section to another.

I have not decided which is my favorite chapter as yet (we don’t decide favorites we just know them, well sometimes we do).

Also there are certain patterns to which a certain group of people adhere to and the others have something else of their own. This post is just a signal that I have finished the book and soon the pattern matching analysis will be posted here. So watch this space. :-)

Am reading this, this and also this now. Yes I have read the last one before (like everybody else) but this has pictures and everything of the important things and the user experience is markedly different, also a friend was kind enough to lend it to me, so there you go.

So I am finally in the elite league of people who read multiple books at once. Yay ! Took me long enough, but I got there finally !

Answer.

Yeah so the eternal question.. Why are we here ? And why this planet ? Why not on some other, Mars for example. But then why mars ..?

Anyways, so why are we here ? What should we be doing to make this life meaningful ? Helping others ? In doing what ? In living better..? Better than what ? Animals have a clear purpose. Their only goal is to survive and reproduce. Its like they have a clear mission. Eat to live, mate and protect your young ones. Pass on your genes. Day after day, day after day, they keep on doing this. Surroundings may change, years may change but the general idea behind an animals existence is the same. Survive and reproduce.

Ok so now comes the why. Why survive ? What for ? and for whom ? 10 years down the line a tiger dies, mostly tragically, a far cry from the formidable and majestic creature it was once. So why did it fight on ? Why did it strive to survive, just to die one day in sorrow ? Whats the point ? I mean sure, its not that long term. A tiger would be after short term gains. Its hungry, it hunts, eats and hence survives another day. Days add up to become years and years add up to become a lifetime. The reproduction too is a short term exercise I guess. The tiger feels the urge, it strives to find a mate, copulates and has progeny. It protects them. This is unaccounted for. Why protect them ? Why not focus on the goals like before. Food and sex. Nature has hardwired a parent-child bond into all of us to make sure life carries on, on this blue planet. But then who is this nature ? And why does it want to make sure that life carries on here ? And why not on other planets of the solar system. Where is the nature there ?

Coming to humans, we don't just eat and mate. We do a lot more, like fight wars for instance. But it all boils down to just these two at the end. We want to survive and we want people with our DNA to be the ones living happily in this cruel world.

Does this ever end ? Or does this cycle go on and on without meaning. Just as is. And not what for ? Why ? Logic says, things happen for a cause. What is this cause. How can we make this life meaningful ? The easy answer to this question is by remaining happy. Happiness. What does that mean ? Difficult question. Lets suppose, for now, happiness means x. And the reason we are all here is to be happy. Or more clearly to try to be happy. Is it like a 70-80 year old getaway from somewhere, where people are sent so that they can try to be happy. Some find happiness in material gains, some in spiritual. Some become happy by making others happy. We call them philanthropists and heap praise on them. But at the end, everyone is just tring to be happy. Some try to excel to make their parents proud and happy which in turn makes them happy.

So then, turns out, things are not so unclear after all. The purpose of this life is to be happy. But then we haven't defined happiness. We still have that x. What is happiness ?

Choice

Funny thought. About this choice thingy. Its also been documented here by Suneeth.

So imagine, when the "Big old guy Up there" was creating the world and He had classified the beings, initially, in two broad categories flora and fauna. He asks them a question, "ok fellas, so you guys are going down there, I am sure you have all your instructions and the manuals ready. Now theres just one last thing. One of you gets to stay at one place, be able to make their own food, have all the water and other goodies delivered right up to them and the other has to move around and forage for everything. So flora you have been the better of the two, which role do you want ?".

And plants are like, "What !! we get to choose first ? Yay !! Who wants to run around for everything, the former is obviously so much better. Hey God, we take the first one.."

You all know how it has turned out in the end !! A member of the "fauna" group is able to write all this sitting on a desk made out of the dead body of a member of the flora.. Ah hindsight !!

Laughter.

Looks like this is going to be a consecutive post on laughter !

Yeah, so I was surfing through the channels on T.V and some version of Ramayana was on air. With fully grown Rawan and his mates all seated in the 'durbar' pondering over the large alien army at their shores. A unique thing struck me, however bleak the situation, uncertainity of impending war but the 'Raskhas' always managed to laugh heartily at the end of any meeting.

They go like.."blah blah blah, blah blah" Muhahahahahahahaha...
"More Blahs " then hahahahahahaha...

You get the point.

Ands its not like those small, "look, I am so polite" , kinda laughs. They are not forced, in fact, totally spontatenous. Hahahahahahahahha.. You Know, the kind which come straight from the stomach.. like Hahahahahahahahaha..

And they do it all the time. The "righteous people" on the other hand always somehow manage to keep grim and serious. Sometimes supporting a smile in acknowledgement of a good suggestion but, Hahahahahahahahaha, never.
You can't even imagine a 'Sura' doing this large belly laugh. Come to think of it, you can't even imagine one with a large belly ! Its only for the 'Asuras', with large round stomachs, like good 'khaate peete ghar ke log' and laughing thier hearts out.

Or is the roboust health to do with the fact that they are always laughing and we know since the time we couldn't even tie our shoe laces that "Laughter is the best medicene".

Sure all these 'bad guys' get annihilated at the end. But God have they laughed all their lives ? You bet !

Lappy !

So its finally arrived !!

A bright spot in an otherwise dull July. Come to think of it, first 5 days of july have never been so dull, like ever ! July being my birth month and all that.

What has the world come to ! Introducing irritably yours !

Forget that.

So the laptop's come ! Shining new XPS - 1530 ! Red ! My 3rd big investment, after the sony erricson - June 2006. Pulsar - November 2007, its now Dell XPS - July 2008. Kindofa self - birthday gift. A little early though ! hee hee :-)

This thing is neat ! I mean, sure most things could have been done on a much cheaper variant but am on my splurging streak right now. So, there you go.

Also bought the cool samsonite 'bag-pack'. I love the single quotes much more than those pesky old double idiots. Clutter is much less.

Yeah. So another "bIg" event is me buying GMAT official guide. But its been lying there, quietly on the table. Not saying anything, just staring. How rude !

Whatever.

Tooo sleepy now !

Good night.

Events

A lot has happened lately. And I have been having one of those things people like to call "Writer's block", as in, I haven't been able to write anything. Had atleast 3 posts in my head before I shifted to Noida from Bangalore (yes yes, I am just getting to why this happened). And any further thoughts I had, had to wait for me to write these posts first. Because I like to write stuff in chronological order. (I also have to write testimonials of a lot of people on orkut).

Anyways those 3 can wait, I am getting on with this new one just to fend off the powerful demon, the block thing.

Yeah, so like I said, I shifted base. From Bangalore to Noida. New job. And God knows I loved Bangalore. A lot of people don't like it, but I liked that city a lot. It had that vibe about it which gave me a perpetual high. I was staying with some of my closest friends of college and had found a lot of new awesome friends in a very short time. Also I was doing a lot of stuff there, like french class (more friends :-) ), salsa class for a while, and Gym. I miss all those. But to be honest I am quite positive about Noida as well. Heres why :

New places excite me, as in, one can start over and apply the lessons one learnt at the previous place. I learn a lot of lessons, at least I like to think that I do. Anyways getting back to Noida. So a lot of college friends here as well, but we don't stay together, yet. From June/July onwards we will. So that'll be remedied. Staying in a house full of college friends (full as in 5 of us) is always a lot of fun. Noida is hot. The weather. Its pretty harsh. Bangalore scores easily here. However the traffic congestion is much lesser here and one can ride the bike much more happily (if it is evening and the Sun God has decided to be merciful). However the blanket of dust causes its own problems. God why doesn't it rain here (like in Bangalore :p) ?

Anyways. Forgetting that. Good thing about leaving places is that you get a lot of gifts. I got two books as part of these gifts. "The kite runner" and The curious incident of the dog in the night time.

I didn't give a link to The kite runner 'coz it is pretty famous and most people would already know about it. I have found that creative works (movies, books, short stories et al) influence me a lot, at least temporarily, no mostly temporarily. I often go back to the old rigmarole pretty soon. But in the short term they do. Like, I don't know if you have noticed but my writing style in this post has changed a little. Its been inspired by the second book. The most distinct thing about the book is indeed its unique writing and the way the story is told, in first person, by an autistic 15 year old boy. Its quite an interesting read.

The kite runner is pretty amazing as well. More so, 'coz it is the author's first novel.

It inspires a lot of feelings in you and is also informative about Afghan lifestyle before, during and after the Soviet invasion and then the Taliban. Its one of those books people like to call "must reads". Coming to think of that, I haven't read a lot of these must reads yet. Like Shantaram, Atlas shrugged, The Fountainhead et al.

This one is good for its unique and interesting writing style, like I said. I would definitely recommend this book.

Ok, so looks like I am back in my writing blogs groove. Very well. On that positive note, I'll conclude this post.

Cheers!

Venkat.

RIMC classified us. Into sections. Chandragupta was the funniest, or so I thought in my first few days at school. Lone Ghoshal, only one first termer in that section! Hell ! I thought. That guy wud go crazy. Certainly. And then the rest started trickling in, each special in his own way. One of them was Venkat.

Funniest surname I had heard uptil then. Venkat kee ass pe rumal. Or so he was christened.
By Bhawani I guess.Black and round. With a funny smile on his face. Good at debates. Soon I saw him running the atheletics A div or something it was called. That ass and atheletics !!
This guy was made of sterner stuff ! And looks were deceptive.

Further down our time, when the infamous class 2 incident happened. I remember Venga as a morale boosting voice in times which were difficult for all of us, as a class.

Then he formed Pirates !

From there on, Venga was this cool, rebel kinda guy. Who did things passionately. He wasnt particularly tall, a little plump as well, but see him play basketball and you knew what venga was about. In the later years, I have a distinct memory of him walking around with Ghosh saying things like "yum yum".. and other silly rhyming jokes.

I remember walking around Chandragupta dorms and coming across Venkat's table. He had scribbled there : "Great men are not born great, but they become great because they toil hard when others sleep ".

The kitroom incident and then the relegations left a void in each of our hearts. With Venga going in another class and 5 A being hectic, I guess my contact with one of the best guys of
our class became infrequent. It was all downhill from there.

I am sorry for not keeping in touch. If only we could have talked more ..I thought we had all our lives to do that. "Whats the hurry". From how things have turned out..I guess, thats a misplaced notion.

Cheers to Venkat.

Helen Keller

Was reading this post. Had to post this stuff here, just had to.

"The two greatest characters in the 19th century are Napoleon and Helen Keller. Napoleon tried to conquer the world by physical force and failed. Helen tried to conquer the world by power of mind — and succeeded!" ~ Mark Twain

Helen Keller Says..

Pessimism

If I regarded my life from the point of view of the pessimist, I should be undone. I should seek in vain for the light that does not visit my eyes and the music that does not ring in my ears. I should beg night and day and never be satisfied. I should sit apart in awful solitude, a prey to fear and despair. But since I consider it a duty to myself and to others to be happy, I escape a misery worse than any physical deprivation.

Optimism

"Most people measure their happiness in terms of physical pleasure and material possession. Could they win some visible goal which they have set on the horizon, how happy they could be! Lacking this gift or that circumstance, they would be miserable. If happiness is to be so measured, I who cannot hear or see have every reason to sit in a corner with folded hands and weep. If I am happy in spite of my deprivations, if my happiness is so deep that it is a faith, so thoughtful that it becomes a philosophy of life, —if, in short, I am an optimist, my testimony to the creed of optimism is worth hearing."

The Simplest Way to be Happy

"A happy life consists not in the absence, but in the mastery of hardships."

K

How much I hate k. I mean comeon ! One writes such a big sentence with all smileys and everything and all that comes back is a k. I mean what on the sweet mother earth is that ! k period. Just k. Had it been an ok things wud be different. I mean, thats actually a conversation, I say something to you and you say, "ok. Cool. No harm done. But k. I mean, was typing that poor old wretched o so hard on ur freaking fingers that your rusted old brain decided to skip it. Why on earth would one say k, just k in response to anything someone else has to say.

From where do such people come anyway ! Typing k. That too as an acknowledgment. May their wasted souls burn in hell! K ?

Gao Diaries : Day 2.

Day 2s. On a 3 day trip.So different, as in from day 1 with unbottled curiosity and day 3 with "quick, let's not miss anything" vibe. Day 2s are more relaxed. Yeah. So we all got up late, 2 bikes were off. Last bunch, 8 fellas, in one van and a karizma. The stupid bike refused to start. Everything was tried (someone even tried to bribe the bike into starting !) but what do u know : use original MS software. PJ. 8 guys stuffed into a "khatara" van.

Now the Van deserves a special mention here. Had it not been for Satya bhai's nerves of steel and his carefree attitude of : "meein to beita rahunga, chahe jo ho", we would be in serious trouble. The guy's got patience. Truck loads of it. But that doesnt really help an old wimp of a vehicle overloaded with 8 guys to climb a steep slope. Had to get down and walk a little. May the Great Lord kill that cop with a bolt of lightining. Lost the way (Yeah Aaseees was with us this time, what a jinx !). Finally found the way to Baga but sweet old Murphy didn't give his law for nothing.

Flat tire. Ankur's IITK mechanical coming to good use. Reached the Beach, finally ! Again in the water. Damn Hungry. Goan food, yummy. Now people had to split up, the van needed repairs, the group needed money (ATM) also some guys went back home for God knows what. Idyled around on the beach. Took walks up and down. Loads of people. Good fun. Back to guest house.

Nine Bar. Nice place. Correction, very very nice place. Allows stag entry, no entry charges, great music, great crowd. Could life get better ? Nah, but it could get worse. They close at 10. Fools. Back to the beach for a while and then off to : wait for it :: ... yeah : SNB. Saturday Night Bazaar. It was like 1 AM and the place is blistering with people, beautiful people ;). Stayed there for sometime. No, didn't buy anything. Back home.

P.S : Satya bhai was awarded "Swarna padak" for driving the van.

Goa Diaries : Day 1

So we are finally off. To Goa. This media really gets to all of us, the very word "Goa", and suddenly theres electricity in the air. The bus was ok (or so I thought earlier), 12 guys. Theres something about songs and bus journeys. Like a symbiotic relationship. Or whatever. Suyash sure has a talent for parodies, applause followed. New terms were coined, for the ones in use cannot be spoken aloud. Didn't really know when the two mixed (songs and the new term), was funny..! Dozed off in between all this, but what do u know : An incident was waiting to happen.

So I get up, and theres this excited chattering all around. You missed it, people chuckle. Familiar terms of famous eatieries are thrown around. Samir, or was it someone else ?, finally narratted the incident. The hero remains the same (as in the previous trip's first incident). This time driven by an amorous drive. Angry words flew, but its never advisable to challenge a member of a 12 fella group, or so somebody thought. Peace.

First view of a beach and guys are excited, Aaseees clicking away. Happiness ! The journey to was tiring. Reached Panaji at around 1 pm. Professional haggling followed. Finally hired a van and 3 bikes for a reasonable amount. Off to the guest house.

Now Aaseees has a thing with maps. He loves them. Also bridges and villages but lets not jump the gun here. With Aaseees reading the map full throttle, Satisa's bike (with Aaseees reading the map) got lost on a straight road ! Phonecalls followed. Rescued the buggers. Back on track.

House was decent, kinda old. Aunty was very hospitable. Suyash, from hereon reffered to as "Macau", brought fried chicken. God Bless the guy. Ready for the beach..! Beach at night, a little crowded. Everybody in the water. Booze followed. Started our stroll. Plenty of music, eatieres, people dancing all around. One particular restaurant had more rush. Curious, decided to check that out. Ok so three whites dancing there, like on a stage, 2 of them girls. People gawking. "Black-fat" bouncer keeping the "Indians" at bay. Dunno whether t'was alcohol or the patriotic thing I have going on sometimes, decided to test my luck. Urged people to come, everybody declined. Went alone, danced for a while, out comes the bouncer. Exchanged a few expletives, Ankur to the rescue.

Back to Club City. First time I skipped Dinner I guess. In my life ! People say was tasty. Back to the beach. A lot of dancing followed (at a different place). Most people got involved, was great fun. Dancing brings that joy out from within. Back to the guest house.

Day 2 in the next post .. :)
